Peggy moved to Rancho El Dorado in 2003 to be near her son and grandchildren. She wanted to work and serve the people in her community, so she joined the Joe Baselice Agency of Farmers Ins. When the Farmers Agency opened the office in Maricopa there were few location choices. Joe used his creativity to keep with the "small town feel" and put the "Bunk House" together at the StageStop. It's equiped with all the latest modern equipment and is connected electronically to the main office in Chandler. "It's like the rest of the staff is in the next room". The agency fully co-operates with Peggy's efforts to support the community. Each year they have provided lunch for the Optimist Clubs' Law Appreciation ceremony. Peggy also volunteered at The Seeds of Change fund raiser and is a foster mom for AZ Basset Rescue along with various other acitvities. She fully supports "Keep It Local" and buys everything possible from local business. see chamber blog "Watching this city grow has been amazing!
